We went to California Adventure on Wednesday and it was a perfect day to go. We walked in to just about every ride, and it wasn't crowded at all! The only downside was this was the day Jayson started to feel sick (we found out once we were home he had strep) but he was such a trooper and pulled through most of the day before heading back to the hotel a little early.
My boys loved seeing Doc Mcstuffins and she was so cute interacting with them, checking their heart. We saw her right when we came in and were one of the first people in line it worked out great!
Then we headed to the Monsters Inc ride.
Then we went and watched the Disney Junior show. It was so fun! The boys were so excited to see their favorites Mickey and Jake in real life!
Then we headed to Bugs Land but I didn't get any pictures on my phone of that. It was the hottest this day and at Bugs Land they have little splash pads that really helped the kids cool down for a minute. Then we headed to Cars Land. This was a favorite part for my boys. They loved everything about it. The fun rides, seeing Lighting and Mador, and it was fun to see the Christmas decorations going up.
I'm not kidding when I say Jayson was being a trooper. Later that night I took his temperature and he had 104 degree fever and could hardly swallow anything. I felt terrible that he was sick, but we were both grateful it was worse on the last day and not the first.
I seriously loved all the Christmas decor.
We got to meet Lightning McQueen and Mador and Hudson and Colt were over the moon about it.
No on should ever go into Cars Land without stopping and getting a little PopCone. It was the perfect treat :)
They were doing this little show while we stopped for a snack and I wasn't too concerned about it, but my sweet sister Amber really wanted to see it :) so we headed over there and Hudson loved every second of it.
He about had a heart attack when the girl asked him to come dance with them too.
He followed along to every move it was so cute.
Colt finally took a nap too :)
Then we headed over to Ariels Adventure. Checked off the bucket list for Amber :)
We saw Buzz on our way to the Toy Story ride.
And the parade was awesome.
Colt and I were waiting for everyone else as they went on a bigger ride so we went and rode the merry go round.
The Cars Land rides are out of this world. They were fantastic. Next time I would have a day where we just stay there the whole day and ride those rides.
It was such a fantastic trip. I'm so glad we did it. It was worth all the penny pinching and planning. I'm so glad it worked out for Amber and Tyler and Hannah to come. We are definitely doing it again. It was so fun to go on vacation with my sister. Even with Jayson getting sick at the end and us having to make a crazy one day drive to get to my moms so Jayson could get to the instacare it was still a good trip. Until next time Disneyland!!
