Colt Jeffry

I know its been way too long, but  trying to juggle a newborn and a busy 2 year old has been intersting to figure out :) Colt Jeffry was born on Nov 21st (Hudson was born on the 12th so they are opposite each other, fun huh) at 8:10 am. He was 6 lbs, 19 inches long. I went into labor on Sunday evening, but when we got to the hospital I wasnt progressed quite far enough so Jayson and I spent an hour walking around the completely empty halls to progress my labor. My doctor broke my water at 1:30 and everything went kinda fast from there. I was so glad that I was able to feel Colt be born, I was so numb when I had Hudson I had no idea if I was pushing or not. Sorry if this is TMI but it was such a wonderful experience for me. I was able to feel when my body knew to push. I was only a 6 at 5 am but then at 730 I felt so much pressure I told Jayson to check and make sure he wasn't coming out that second haha. The nurse checked me and said oh! Your a ten, let's get this baby here! Our doc got there super fast and was so wonderful to just let me lead and push when I felt I needed to. I started pushing at 8 and he was here 10 minutes later. I also have felt a much better recovery this time around, with Hudson I wasn't able to get up for several hours so it was nice to be able to walk around very soon after. We love this next addition to our family. He was a little jaundice like Hudson was, on Thanksgiving he had to sit under the billibed lights, that was no fun not being able to snuggle him very often. We are definitely having fun adjusting to life with 2 boys. Hudson isn't quite sure even still what to think of his brother. One minute he is giving him knuckles and kisses the next Colt will cry out and Hudson yells don't! haha, once Colt gets bigger I'm sure they will be best of friends. Well, here are some pictures...I will hopefully be posting some more later on this week when I get some time. Hope everyone is having a great December!

Randoms

Happy November everyone! Today our day looks like this picture, haha, Hudson is ready for his nap and really cranky and throwing fits...oh the joys of having a two year old :) I just couldn't help but snap a picture of him, I know one day I'm going to miss him throwing fits and then wanting to snuggle and cry it out.
I'm so excited it is November, the Christmas music is playing, and I'm restraining myself as much as I can to not put up all my Christmas decorations...I am mainly keeping it to just "winter" decorations and the very few "thanksgiving/fall" stuff I have. I'm hoping to atleast wait until after Hudson's birthday to put them up but seriously I just love putting up Christmas stuff. :) We are celebrating Hudson's birthday this Saturday and it looks like it is going to turn out to be a fun little Mickey Mouse themed celebration! :) Should be a fun time.
I went to the start of my one week appointments yesterday, I was dialated to a one and 50% effaced, definitely headed in the right direction and yesterday was one month until my due date. It's crazy to think this little dude will be here so quick, I have finally decided I should probably get the baby clothes washed and get my hospital bag packed. We can't wait to meet this new little guy. Well, that's really all of an update from us now, here are some random pics to add to the update :)
My mom came to visit and brought my nieces Kenzie and Maddie to stay the night. We had a fun time with them!

One day poor Hudson hadn't gotten a nap because we were busy busy all day and he finally zonked out on Jayson at like 6 pm...it was the sweetest thing ever!
Here we are as the family of skeletons with our pumpkins at the annual Limb family halloween party, Jayson carved the monster "m" and Hudson and I went with Mickey :) Thanks to Jayson's sister Destiny for being so artistic and willing to share her talent and design our pumpkins! :) We had such a fun time at the party with family, love the holidays and getting together!

And here is Hudson going for a ride with Grandma Jeanie and Grandpa Rick, he loves that jeep and being with his gma and gpa!

Happy October!

We have started out October with some snow, I didn't take any pictures but it was kind of welcome. I am excited for fall and winter and all the fun holidays coming up, also I can't help but get super excited that our little guy will be coming soon too! I only have about 6 weeks left, that feels awesome but it also feels like such a long time too. I am just keeping super busy keeping Hudson entertained and enjoying the one on one time I still have with him. Hudson recently started sleeping in his toddler bed all by himself, what a tear jerker for me! I can't believe my little tiny baby is growing up so fast! It seems like just yesterday we brought him home from the hospital. I love the stage he is in right now and all the fun things he is learning. I love that he loves to give my belly kisses and talk about his "brudder", it really is the sweetest thing ever. I had uploaded some more pictures of a recent activity where we colored in the bathtub but blogger won't let them upload so I will have to try again another time.
Jayson and I took a ride into the mountains the other night and took that picture of me at 33 weeks. Seriously time is flying by. We still don't have a name picked out for this new little guy, but I'm sure once we see him we will know, and if not then I keep telling people that I will just send out an announcement and tell everyone to pick their own name and call him that :)
I am absolutely loving Jayson's new job here in town, he gets to come home everyday for lunch and will never have to work out of town again :) YAY! I love having him all to myself! :) He is such a wonderful husband and father, my life would not be complete without him. Well, that's all of an update for us as of now, hope everyone is having a great week!

As of lately...

Hudson and Jayson outside working on our lawn mower, Hudson seriously loves working with Jayson on just about anything, those two couldn't be more alike :) I love that Jayson's new job allows him to be home every day and we get to spend so much time together.

Hudson all ready for church a couple weeks ago, it really is fall around here, and I'm loving the cooler weather!

One of Hudson's favorite things is to ride on "blackie" he always yells yeehaw as he is riding, its the cutest thing ever!
Hudson lives for being outside, so he is constantly heading to our back door and asking, "side?" or he will hear our dogs bark at something and he will tell them hush and then ask to go outside. I sure love being this kids mom, he is such a joy!

Finally found my camera cord!

So I finally found my camera cord to upload all of our current (and some older) pictures. So here is a catch up blog, might be long, but atleast it's updated haha :)
My beautiful sis went to prom and got the most gorgeous, perfect for her barbie dress. Isn't she gorgeous!?

We went to visit my sister and her kids for a few days and here are some pictures of my nephew playing some serious hockey. He is pretty much already a pro if you ask him :)

I know these are old but I needed to post them, these are from Easter this year, Hudson totally was into egg hunting, he loved finding the eggs and putting them into his basket.

We got him this super fun fire truck that sprays water, that was the best toy I have ever bought, we have used it a lot this summer!

Here he is in his Easter suit, I can't believe how fast he is growing!

Here is Grandma Jeanie with Hudson and Lainee on Easter, I will have to find and post the picture of her holding both of them when they are tiny.
Here is Uncle Andy taking Hudson for a ride in the sand rail, Hudson loves anything with a steering wheel that has an engine, takes after his dad :)

Hudson playing with some of his cousins

We went to the childrens museum, which Hudson absolutely loved! He is really into the play house stuff, like the food and the ironing, what a well rounded boy I would say :)

Right before Hudson had surgery on his tonsils we went to the zoo with our friends the Kummer's. They were so nice to let us in free using their season pass, Hudson had the most fun at the park, he didn't really get into the animals much, it rained a little bit and by 1 Hudson was fast asleep in the stroller :)

Here is my beautiful sis again during her ballet performance of Cinderella, she was a horse :)
Here is the one picture I took from Hudson's surgery. I thought he looked so dang cute in that little hospital gown. His surgery went really well, he was drinking out of a sippy cup almost immediately after getting his tonsils and adnoids removed. His recovery was a little rough through that first day, he just did a lot of sleeping but luckily we got to stay over night at primary childrens and the nursing staff was a huge help. All the nurses kept commenting that they had never seen a baby take their meds like Hudson would haha :) He was so wonderful and we can see a huge difference in his sleeping and eating habits since getting the surgery done, it has been such a blessing!
Ben graduated from middle school and is now a freshman at Grantsville High! :)
Here is Hudson enjoying some homemade whippped cream at my mom's haha :)

He loves the slide at grandma j's!
Hudson with Nana, the second picture is of tiny, this is of our dogs just after we got them shaved, I know they don't look like Saint Bernard's as much but I think they enjoyed not having that thick coat over the summer!

Hudson playing in our yard right after I mowed it (hence the piles of grass) He loves playing in the pool and with his fire truck.

Jayson loves to play a little Call of Duty sometimes, and here is Hudson deep in the game with him haha :)

Ben at bball camp in southern Ut.
Hudson getting ready for the pool in St. George
Katie and Hudson in the razr.
Jayson playing some bball with Ben :)
Fourth of July parade in Gville, I took Hudson and my cousin Lauren, all the boys were riding at the sand dunes and the other girls went to drop off Katie and my cousin Courtney at EFY.

One of Hudson's favorite things to do during the day is get out the stroller and buckle and unbuckle all of the straps. :)

Hudson after an evening snack haha
This is so funny. So Hudson sleeps in a porta crib for right now, he was sleeping in his crib but we just got a toddler bed and I'm painting and decorating his room so he sleeps there until I get it all fixed up (Jayson thinks I'm already nesting haha) and one day during his nap I went out to the kitchen to get some water or something and I found that he had rolled back the hard bottom and was curled up in the side, which hung down like a hammock. Unfortunately when I took the picture it woke him up and nap time was cut short but I thought it was so funny and cute.
Here I am at 21 weeks, self portraits are so hard to take, I thought I had lifted the camera up enough but apparently not haha
Hudson ready to get out of the bath
Hudson and Brooklyn at Jayson's and Rick's birthday party. Brooklyn is so sweet with Hudson and always has him laughing and laughing.
 My birthday boy! :)

I love how Jayson and his dad share a birthday, we had so much fun on their bday this year getting together with all the family. :)
 Hudson and Trenten snuggling
 All the boys
I was testing some new curtains I got, and I wasn't sure which ones I liked, the original or new, Hudson pulled down the old ones, grabbed a quilt from our room and snuggled up on the couch and kept telling Jayson and I "nigh night" haha, he is such a sweet little boy.
And here I am at 23 weeks! :)
Life has kinda slowed down for us the last little while. Jayson just put in his two weeks at Rain for Rent and will be working at the auto shop here in town at the end of the month. We are so grateful for this new opportunity because he won't have to be out of town, I won't need to worry if he will be gone when I go into labor, and he will be home every night and get weekends off :) It will definitely be a fun new adventure to get back into the habit of having him home every day, one that I have been waiting for for a loooong time! :)  Today I went to my 24 week appointment, everything with baby was great, my doc said I was measuring a little bit bigger than my original due date but we would check with an ultra sound at 30 weeks. We are excited to have another little baby boy join our family. :) Hudson loves to pat my belly and say baby. The only problem with that is that he calls his belly baby now haha. Hopefully that will be easier to explain once his brother is here. Well, I hope everyone is doing well! And hopefully now I can keep track of my camera cord and stay updated better!
