Limb Family Proclamation 2012
We pledge to love God, each other, and all around us with all of our hearts.
We pledge to only speak kind words, and to not judge those around us.
We pledge to give 100% of ourselves 100% of the time.
We pledge to be quick to give a helping hand, and to seek out missionary experiences.
We pledge to let the light of our Savior Jesus Christ be evident in our daily actions.
We pledge to take chances, and to put all of our faith and trust in God.
We pledge to take every opportunity we can to appreciate the beautiful world God made for us.
We pledge to make informed financial decisions and to rid ourselves of all debt.
We pledge to be better prepared in the event of an emergency.
We pledge to have family night every week.
We pledge to take lots of pictures, even if we are in our pjs and the house is dirty.
We pledge to make this year our best year yet!
I used to be a huge fan of the show Jon and Kate plus 8. I loved the first two seasons, Kate was a powerhouse about being organized and saving money. I thought it was so awesome that they could have the twins and sextuplets and be so organized (considering) and their kids looked happy and healthy. Now I am not such a huge fan. But one thing I took from the first season is a tradition that Jon and Kate had each year of making a family proclamation with goals for their family for the next year. So Jayson and I started doing our own every New Years. So here is the debut of our family proclamation for 2012. We also like to reflect on our proclamation from the last year and see how we measured up in keeping our goals. I am proud to say that last year we did very well, the only exception being that we wanted to try to go to Mexico to go back to Jayson's mission but finding out we were pregnant kind of put a damper on that one. One day we will go back though. So here is to a new year with new goals! And here are some pictures that are from recently.
Hudson loves climbing into Colt's little rocking bassinet thing. Then he snuggles in Colt's blanket and pretends to be a baby.Jayson and Hudson ready for church. :)
Hudson was "reading" Colt this book the other day, so sweet!
Colt all bundled up for a walk. We had some seriously nice weather lately!
I tried really hard to get a picture in their "little brother, big brother" shirts but Hudson refused to get close to Colt and was mad the whole time because I took him away from playing with his cars.
Sweet little Colt.
Fell asleep playing :)
haha, I love this face!
