Pictures

Here are a few more pictures from the hospital and my visit to my mom's. :)

Hudson's first bath. It was not a big hit but he didn't seem to mind it after we started.

My sweet sleeping son :)

Uncle Ben, Auntie Kate, and a really sweet picture of Great Grandpa Stan and Hudson. Hudson just loved looking at Great Grandpa Stan, he would not get his eyes off of him, it was so sweet!

Just some pictures of my sweet shugar bean :)

Here is Grandma Jeanie with Hudson and Lainee.

Here is Hudson sun bathing while we were trying to get his bilirubin levels down. He absolutely loved laying in the sun.

This was on our first trip to Logan to get his bilirubin tested.

DONE!!

Hudson is finally done with his biliruben tests. His level had dropped from 16.7 to 11.7 in 2 days so our pediatrician said he doesn't have to get another one!! :) YAY!! He did so good for his last test, he didn't cry at all...just looked at the nurse like, "I am totally a pro at this lady". It was so sweet. I also got to see my good friend Lyndsi while I was in Logan yesterday...it was so great to see her, it had been awhile and it was good to catch up a little bit. :) Well, this is just a short post, I'm getting everything ready to go to Grantsville for my friend's wedding reception and to go visit Grandma J! :) Pictures later :)

Testing, Testing...1,2,3.....4!?!?

Well here is the skinny. Hudson was born with a little bit of jaundice. Not high risk, but enough that our pediatrician was concerned. So we went and had it checked on Sunday, our dr wanted to check again on Monday and have us come in so he could take a look at him. Well, his levels had gone up instead of down so I went back again today to get it rechecked for the 3rd time. It had gone down a little, but we are going to get it checked a fourth time on Thursday. And we have gone to Logan for the checks so it's a little over an hours drive each way. Luckily on Monday Jayson was able to go with me and today my mother in law came with. So we have just been making sure he is getting enough feedings and right now my sweet little man is sunbathing, hopefully all this helps and we can get rid of that biliruben for good! I am ready to just be home and stay with my son :)
I can't believe he is here. It still is surreal that he is. But I love being a mommy and I love to hold and snuggle my son. I have started calling him my little "shuga bean" haha. And I think "bean" might stick for short! :) Jayson thinks I'm weird but it just came out one day and it has stuck. But really Hudson is such a good baby. He sleeps really well throughout the night, and is not very fussy. He has been so tough to get the biliruben tests done every day since he has been born. He cries just a little, but he is one tough cookie. Well, I have taken like a million pictures of him since we have been home but I haven't put them on my laptop yet so more pictures coming next time! :) Hope everyone is well!

Welcome home Hudson!

Today we finally made it home from the hospital. It was snowing a little bit when we left Logan, but the drive was really good. Hudson was so good the entire way home. He didn't cry once until we got to the post office just up the street from our house. It was wonderful and I got a much needed nap on the way :) Hudson has a little bit of jaundice, so we are heading back to the hospital tomorrow to check his levels again. Hopefully they have gone down. When we got home today there was some really cute blue balloons and a welcome home sign on our front door, and Jayson and I enjoyed the enchiladas my mother in law made for us and brought over while we were gone and left in our fridge :) It really has been a great day. Hudson is such a great baby, he hardly ever fusses or cries. He has been especially good at night. SO I pretty much have the perfect son!! :) Well, I feel like I could go on and on about everything but really all is well and we are looking forward to enjoying our new little bundle of joy! Here are a bunch of pictures from the hospital. Jayson helped give him his first bath right there in my room, and the nurse did his hair in a little mohawk like his Uncle Ben and Uncle Anthony do :) It was so stinking cute. And then there are pictures of his little outfit coming home, and the beanie that my mom's friend from work got for him, that was just a little bit too small. But anyways...here are the pictures!

Welcome to the world!!

Welcome to the world Hudson Allan Limb!! He came into our family today at 2:24 pm. He weighed 6 pounds 10 ounces, and was 19.5 inches long. I had contractions last night from about 10 pm until about 2 am this morning. They got about 5 minutes apart and were pretty darn strong. So Jayson and I got to the Logan hospital at about 3:30 this morning. By 7 I was dialated to a 3, then at 10:30 I was a 6, then at noon I was an 8 and when my nurse checked me my water broke. I got my epidural at about 9:00 this morning. Which was wonderful. I was having a really hard time with the contractions. I started pushing at about 1:30 and before an hour he came into this world. :) It was such an amazing and beautiful experience. My mom was able to make it in time to be there, and Jayson was able to be there which was a big relief. So we are going to enjoy our sweet son all weekend!! :) Thanks for all the love and support from everyone. We should be coming home Saturday...but we will see. :) Love ya'll more pictures and everything later.

SERIOUSLY!?!?

Well, today I had what I THOUGHT would be my last appointment, but NO!! I am still dialated to about a 2, and no real change. SO...I will just be hanging out until this baby comes. My due date is still 2 days away, so I shouldn't be complaining but I am so ready to have my baby here. Today I told my doctor that I wasn't going home unless I had a baby with me and he told me that he was sure he could find one somewhere around the office, haha. :) So, now we are just playing a waiting game. If I haven't gone into labor by next Friday he will induce me then. I also have another appointment next Wednesday, but HOPEFULLY he comes this weekend or even tonight would be fine with me :) And it just so happens my doctor is on call this weekend, so that would work out great too. But either way, my son will be here by next Friday. Which is still really exciting! Just an update for ya'll. :)

Pictures from awhile ago...

So I couldn't add my pictures on to my mother in law's computer the last time I tried, but now Jayson and I have internet at the trailer so I can just put them from my laptop on here!! :) YAY! There are 2 pictures of our pumpkins we carved at Destiny's. One is a little baby pumpkin we got and Jayson carved it to just have one tooth, it was really cute. And Destiny's son Carter kept telling us to name his cousin Bullseye haha!! From the movie Toy Story, I thought it was the cutest thing. Ya never know Carter, we might just go with it!! :) And the other one is of the owl one Jayson did. It was pretty intense, Jayson and I were the last one carving ours and they were taking forever but they turned out pretty cute I think. The other picture is obviously of us in our masks while Jayson was sick. It sure did give us a new appreciation for being able to breath fresh air, and kissing each other haha! But luckily now we are both feeling much better!
I went to my doctor's appointment yesterday in hopes that I would be farther along. Destiny and Tasha both claim that Wingers is good to eat to put you into labor, and so thats what I had for lunch before my appointment. But when I got there my doctor said that I haven't made much improvement, if any at all. So it was a little frustrating. It's hard to know that this little guy is totally ready to come out, meaning that he is full term and is healthy enough to come out...yet he is staying in there! :) But I am trying to wait patiently, I mean I have waited 39 weeks, one more won't kill me. So I am going to go back to the doctor on this coming Wednesday and hopefully I will be much more progressed. Well, hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Weird Week

This week has been a pretty interesting one for us. On Monday I was really sick with a head cold, and Jayson had had a sore throat for a few days but didn't think anything of it. On Tuesday he stayed home from work and his fever never went under 100. So on Tuesday night we drove down to Logan to go to the clinic there but it was closed when we got there, so we ended up getting a hotel so we could go in the morning. In the morning we got to the clinic and the dr. said that Jayson had H1N1 flu. They didn't officially test him, they just gave us the prescription and said he could be contagious for about 7 days. So we got our hotel for another night, I went to my baby appointment and my dr put me on Tamiflu to help prevent getting sick from Jayson. I was also dialated to about a 2 still, so no real improvement from my last appointment but thats ok. The dr. also said for us both to wear face masks so I won't get it from Jayson so we have been enjoying wearing those all week :) We stayed in Logan the next night and got up and came home. We have been staying home and away from people as much as possible and thankfully Jayson is feeling better. I have a picture of us in our masks but I can't seem to get my camera to upload the pictures on to the computer so it will have to wait for another time. But anyways, I just thought I would update everyone really quick. Hopefully this little baby of ours waits to come until we are healthy again :)

37 weeks!

Well today I am officially 37 weeks along, meaning our sweet little son has reached full term and can come anyday now...and believe me I am so ready for him to be here. I just can't wait to hold him and snuggle him and love on him every day :) It's going to be an awesome experience thats for sure! My last doctor's appointment was this last Tuesday and my dr said I was dialated to about a 2 and 60% effaced. So my body is definitely taking the necessary steps to have this baby come...we just don't know when that day will be just yet. My due date is Friday Nov. 13th....haha wouldn't that be a fun day to be born ;) But I have had some feelings and dreams that we won't have to wait that long to have our precious bundle here. But really you never know. I am still feeling great, I think pregnancy is such a wonderful blessing that our Heavenly Father gave us and I am grateful that Jayson and I are going to be able to bring this little baby into our home. Other than that nothing much has been going on. Just staying home, and I pretty much already have everything ready so just pariently waiting for the day our son arrives!! :) Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Bebe Shower

On Saturday my mother in law Jeanie threw a really nice baby shower for me. It was really casual and fun. We enjoyed chicken salad crossaints, fruit, and some DELICIOUS mini cheesecakes. :) I got some really cute stuff and had a fun time. My mom and little sister were able to come up so that was really nice too! Here are a few pictures from the shower, and me at 34 weeks. Also I got to go to the conference center and see the morning Sunday session of conference. It really was wonderful to be in the conference center, although it was a little hard for me to sit for so long without getting up. Conference was just wonderful as usual!! Hope everyone has a good week!
